2 Types of Prints:

w/ starburst grind pattern
We have two different types of prints that we apply to the photos that we print:
1. Transparent Print on Metal: this converts the any white in the photo to clear (giving it the silvery-white metallic color), and all of the printed colors use a transparent acrylic ink so you can actually see the grind pattern in the metal through the inks. This works great for images like the motocross guy to the left (and in the banner above) because the starburst grind pattern in the metal really becomes part of the picture.
2. Opaque Print w/ Drop Shadow: this is a process that took us a long time to develop, but is also really cool. We keep the whites so you don't see the grind pattern through the colors in the photo, however we add a drop shadow around the edges to make the image look like it is floating off the surface of the metal.
We can show you digital renderings of each style and/or make recommendations based on your photo.
Grind Pattern Options
Although some grind patterns are more popular than others, we have
several options to choose from, which we can show you during the digital rendering phase. The starburst pattern tends to be the most dramatic and eye-catching, so you will see it in a lot of our examples.

Do I Have to Pay for the Digital Rendering..?
Believe it or not, we provide the renderings for free. We feel that the customer has the right to see what they are purchasing before anything is final, even with a custom order. All we require is an order deposit to know you are serious about the purchase, and when we have your approval on the digital rendering we apply that deposit in full to the price of the complete photo print. And No, we don't increase our retail prices at all to compensate for that! It really is just a courtesy we provide to help ensure a positive customer experience for all of our metal print customers!
